TITLE:  Marketing and Communications Coordinator

TERM:  Full-time

START DATE/ TIME:  ASAP

DURATION:  Long term contract, with 3 months of probation period.

LOCATION:  Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the “ReStoring Living Conditions in Armenia” Project will report directly to the Project Manager. The Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the marketing and communication activities of the project, inclusive planning and implementation. He/ she will also ensure the timely and efficient delivery of Project outputs in the above mentioned areas leading to the achievement of expected results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Maintain  and implement marketing and communications (including Public Relations and advertising) strategies to increase donations, sales, communications, volunteer participation and other project related activities, ensuring that the Project’s marketing and communication approaches and principles are taken into consideration; market sizing, financial data, customer segmentation, competitor analysis, market data, business objectives and that they incorporate Project’s and Habitat for Humanity Armenia’s brand positioning, messages and values.
-To elaborate, in coordination with the Project Manager the marketing and communications (including Public Relations and advertising) plans.   
-Closely work with Habitat for Humanity Armenia’s Global Village and Communication Coordinator to manage the Restore Resource Hub s web site and the Facebook page, other social media pages, as well as maintain and increase the organization’s presence on social platforms and relevant on-line forums and networks.
-To facilitate internal communication; to work with the RRH and Habitat for Humanity Armenia teams and synthesize its ideas into relevant communication pieces, to coordinate the evaluation of potential external partnership opportunities.
-Plan and implement visibility actions and crowdfunding campaigns of the RRH according the Project implementation log frame.
-Plan and execute all web, marketing database, email, social media and print advertising campaigns.
-Suggest ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them accordingly in close cooperation with Habitat Armenia relevant staff
-Write and edit marketing and communications material including social media posts, newsletters, appeals, invitations, letters, signage, displays, posters, presentations, and other texts.
- Convey Restore Resource Hub business concept messages to improve Project stakeholder’s awareness;
-Implement evaluation of the Project marketing and communication activities in accordance with EU and Habitat for Humanity Armenia requirements;
- Assist the Project Manager in establishment  of working relationships with potential and existing donors and partners, including individuals, businesses, communities, MFIs, NGOs etc.; maintain the further relationship with them.
- Assist the Project Manager in establishment of clear lines of external communication. This will include facilitation of a smooth collaboration between all key project stakeholders by ensuring a continuous flow of information and participation in Project related events and other activities as required. To coordinate the external communication on a case-by-case basis with the Project Manager and the other partners (including donors) of the Restore Resource Hub (RRH)   

- Assist the Project Manager in in the recruitment and training processes of the RRH  volunteers by close cooperation with Habitat Armenia’s Global Village and Communication Coordinator;
-Strengthen and expand media partnerships and the Project’s public visibility and ensure that the Project is visible and widely communicated in Armenia. 
- Manage and motivate teams of volunteers to ensure a high level of customer service and donor relations;
- Assist the Project manager in ensuring that all employees/ volunteers understand and can effectively communicate Habitat Armenia and the RRH  mission to the public;
- Follow up Habitat Armenia HR procedures.
- Work as part of Habitat Armenia team to reach strategic targets, ensuring that all activity complies with Company ethos, policies and procedures.-Perform any other duties connected directly with the implementation of the Project as assigned by supervisor.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-University degree in Marketing or related field;
-3+ years of extensive work experience in Marketing and communication field;
-Excellent understanding of marketing and communication strategies ;
- Ability to direct marketing activities, with accountability for meeting objectives;
- Marketing experience in SEO, social media and branding;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally, with groups and individuals, and the ability to verbally convey Habitat for Humanity's work with confidence and credibility;
- Experience in networking, nurturing and managing relationships with key stakeholders;
- Strong computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Strong written and verbal skills in English language; excellent written and verbal skills in Armenian language;
- Person committed to the vision and mission of Habitat for Humanity Armenia and a working style that reflects these.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in working within construction and/ or home improvement retail sector;
- Experience in working with volunteers;
-Experience in organizing crowdfunding.

ABOUT PROJECT:  Within the Project Habitat for Humanity Armenia will start operating a ReStore Resource Hub aimed at improving low and middle income families living conditions by providing them access to low-cost household solutions, furniture and building materials - new and used, remodeled and refurbished. The project is funded by European Union till December 2018. Through Housing Support Services anyone interested can get practical and technical tips on construction and refurbishments on home improvements and energy efficiency upgrades. The Project will provide opportunities for volunteers of different abilities and backgrounds to improve their capabilities and to increase their market employment opportunities.
