Luiza Vardanyan has been the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Armenia Foundation since October 2010. Luiza joined Habitat Armenia as Finance and Administrative Manager in October 2008. She has over fifteen years’ working experience in finance and managerial positions, including ten years of working experience with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Delegation in Armenia as Finance Manager. Luiza Vardanyan graduated from the American University of Armenia (AUA) in 1998, an MBA with a major in finance/administration. Under Luiza’s management Habitat Armenia has implemented and diversified projects and has a lot of achievements in helping people in housing need. In 2010 Habitat Armenia used to have one programmatic direction delivered by 8 staff from one location with quite limited partnership. Currently, Habitat Armenia has 4 main programmatic directions, a staff of about 20 employees in two locations in Yerevan with multiple partnerships.
